Paulina is pursuing an Associates in Business Administration to specialize in Human Resources. She is energetic and always kind as she greets those who visit or call our business. She helps with new and existing customers over the phone whether they need to schedule an estimate appointment or have questions about our company. Paulina always looks forward to her customer interactions, having conversations about customer projects and their trust in our services makes her day. She enjoys helping painters through the process of working for CertaPro and loves using her bilingual skills in any area that may be needed. Paulina understands that painting is personal, and is committed to providing an extraordinary experience though every interaction.

What’s Your Role at CertaPro Painters Indianapolis?

My current role is Recruiter and Retention Specialist. My initial role, 7 years ago, was receptionist and I was helping with recruiting plus helping a little in accounting and any other small items that were needed.
I currently focus on our painter’s success by helping them provide the best customer service sometimes out in the field but mostly training them in our processes internally. I help recruit, onboard and train all of our painters. No pressure there! lol

What do you like most about being the Recruiter and Retention Specialist at CertaPro Painters Indianapolis?

I LOVE the vision of the company and core values. We all work together and hard to get things done every day. I had the opportunity to work in many other good companies and nothing compares to working at CPPI. There’s something about having a culture that is fun yet has the urgency to get things done PROPERLY!
I have been offered many other ambitious opportunities but there’s no way I would leave a company that cares SO much about us in every aspect of our lives.

Tell me about your background before coming to CertaPro Painters Indianapolis?

Well, I tried doing a little bit of everything, worked at McDonalds (not flipping burgers) lol they never allowed me to do that, when I didn’t see a future there I left, and I found a place as a front line supervisor of a salt and pepper factory, I had to leave because the burning sensation in my eyes of the pepper everyday is no fun! I worked at Culver’s as well. I was training to be a manager at Culver’s when I got offered the position here at CPPI. My life changed after that, for the better.

Tell us three things people don’t know about you?

Well, I’m the Worship Leader at my church White River Christian Church, and I serve in our Hispanic service.
I have an awesome son, Iker, who fills my days with joy… and tears (sometimes) lol
I coached my son’s soccer team 3 years ago! It was interesting to see how I managed (15) 8 year olds boys! Lol I’m proud to say that we won the championship- I’m a small person but I’m very competitive! If I had the time I would do it again!

If you could have a super power what would it be?

I already have a super power called “Love” and it transforms people!

What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?

I’m a volunteer at heart. I have volunteered at the food pantry at La Plaza community center to help the hispanic community, same for my church. Through CertaPro Painters we recently did a food pack with Million Meal Movement and we’ve done home builds with Habitat for Humanity in previous years.
When I have time, I love to do things that will impact people.
It’s a great way to live with a purpose and not stay within one’s boundaries. If I needed to go to the other side of the world, and help, I would do it. My heart has no bounderies.

What drew you to CertaPro Painters Indianapolis?

When I first applied it was because they needed someone bilingual. After my 3rd interview, I started praying. I really wanted to be here because of the staff. They are amazing people… like AMAZING, they are smart, witty, fun, most have an entrepreneurial spirit, so they are all filled with constant new ideas, and most importantly, they are humble, and not some, ALL of them.
